For women who look like they’re coping, but feel stuck underneath.

You may look like you're coping.
But underneath, it might feel more complicated.
- overthinking everything
- avoiding what you know matters
- feeling responsible for everyone else
- struggling to rest without guilt
- shrinking yourself to keep the peace
- knowing the pattern, but still feeling stuck
You can understand the pattern and still feel trapped in it.
Insight is powerful. But it is not always enough.
You may already have insight
But insight is not always the same as feeling free. Your mind knowing, does not mean your body feels it.
- You can read the books, listen to the podcasts, and save the posts.
- But you still find yourself back in the same emotional place when real life presses the bruise.
- That does not mean you are lazy, broken or “not doing the work”.
- It often means the pattern lives deeper than thought alone.

Who’s guiding the programme?

I’m Dr Gurpreet Kaur, a Clinical Psychologist and EMDR Practitioner.
I specialise in trauma, emotional overwhelm, hidden patterns, intergenerational wounds and the ways people learn to survive by becoming capable, responsible and disconnected from their own needs.
My work combines psychological depth with practical change.
That means we don’t only ask, “Where did this come from?”
We also ask, “How is this showing up now and what needs to change in real life?”
Root Reset has been created for women who are ready for deeper work, but who also need structure, steadiness and a clear pathway through it.
Questions you may have
A few common questions before joining the waitlist.
Root Reset was created because my availability for ongoing 1:1 therapy is limited, and I know that not everyone needs, or can access, open-ended weekly therapy.
I wanted to create a more structured way of supporting women who are ready for deeper psychological work, but who also need flexibility, guidance and a clear pathway.
Root Reset brings together the parts of my work that I return to again and again: understanding old patterns, supporting the nervous system, working with protective parts, processing deeper material where appropriate, and practising change in real life.
It allows me to support more women in a way that still feels thoughtful, clinically grounded and carefully held.
Root Reset is a structured online programme with live support. It is not individual weekly therapy and it is not a group therapy programme.
The programme is designed to give you a clear pathway to access in your own time, preferably weekly with reflective material, regulation practices and support across the 6 months, rather than leaving you to piece everything together on your own.
Full details about the cohort structure, live support and any individual touchpoints will be shared with the waitlist before enrolment opens.
That is a really sensible question and you do not need to work it out alone.
1:1 therapy may be the better fit if you need regular individual support, a higher level of containment, or therapy that is fully tailored week by week. My availability for ongoing 1:1 therapy is currently limited.
An EMDR intensive may be helpful if there is a specific trauma memory, theme or stuck pattern you want to focus on in a shorter, more concentrated way.
Root Reset may be the better fit if you want a 6-month structured pathway with self-paced learning, live support, individual check-ins, regulation tools and one deeper EMDR/IFS-informed processing session where clinically appropriate.
If you are unsure, you can join the waitlist or book an enquiry call so we can think carefully about fit.
Root Reset is a therapy-informed programme created and held by a Clinical Psychologist with over 15 years of qualified experience and over 25 years working in mental health settings.
It includes psychological education, reflective work, nervous system regulation and trauma-informed tools. It is not a replacement for crisis support but it is a self-guided therapy package with ongoing access to Dr Gurpreet Kaur throughout the 6 month programme.
Suitability will be considered carefully.
The first cohort is being offered at a founder rate of £1,997 because Root Reset is launching as a carefully held first version of the programme.
The full programme fee will increase after launch.
Founder cohort members will receive the full programme experience at the reduced first-cohort rate.
You do not need to decide immediately.
Joining the waitlist simply means you will receive the full details when enrolment opens, including dates, structure, payment options and next steps.
You can then decide whether Root Reset feels like the right next step for you.
Root Reset is designed with trauma in mind, but that does not mean it is suitable for everyone with trauma.
If you are currently highly unstable, in crisis, or needing intensive individual support, this may not be the right starting point.
The programme begins with safety, regulation and stabilisation because deeper work needs a strong foundation.
The programme is designed to be realistic for busy women.
You will need time for the live elements, reflection and practice, but this is not about overwhelming you with endless homework.
The aim is steady, repeated engagement rather than perfection.
The programme has a 3 week on, 1 week off approach. During the 3 weeks on you will have access to a live call with Dr Kaur and Slack support with any questions you have. The one week off will give you an opportunity to delve into the online resources and catch up.
No, but it will help if you already have some interest in self-reflection and emotional patterns.
You do not need to know all the psychological language. You just need to be willing to reflect, practise and engage with the material. Making time is important.
No, it’s for women who relate to the themes, while recognising that culture, family roles and inherited expectations may be especially relevant for some.
That makes complete sense.
Root Reset is not about forcing you to disclose painful or private details before you feel ready. You will be encouraged to reflect at your own pace and share only what feels appropriate.
The focus is on safety, steadiness, learning, reflection and integration, not pressure, exposure or emotional performance.
This is not group therapy. It is a group call to learn techniques and ask any questions
The waitlist does not commit you to anything.
Before joining, you will receive more information about the programme, the fee, the structure and the kind of support included. If needed, we can also think carefully about fit before you enrol.
Root Reset is designed to be supportive, but it is not right for everyone and that matters.
That makes sense. A lot of people are tired of buying resources, courses or books and then feeling guilty when they do not keep up.
Root Reset is self-paced, but it is not unsupported.
The programme is designed with clear stages, and as you move through key points, you will unlock the next support call with me. Founder cohort members will have three 1:1 check-in calls across the programme, so you are not just left alone with the material.
There will also be live support, integration weeks and one 90-minute individual deeper processing session using EMDR and/or IFS-informed approaches, where clinically appropriate.
The aim is not to give you more information to abandon. The aim is to give you a structure you can return to, with enough support to help you keep moving.
